Tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Katsu Curry Rice here. The ramen broth was pretty good, although it lacked that silky smooth texture that defines a top class tonkotsu broth. The biggest disappointment here was the chasiu provided. It was dry, tasteless and bordering on inedible. The Curry rice was decent, nothing to write home about. The katsu was crispy but a bit too thin for my liking. This is a decent Japanese place, but definitely nothing special.
Nice little Japanese restaurant tucked in Canning Vale. I have always been having their ramen ( the one with corn), Couldnt have enough of their lovely broth! The setting of the restaurant is cosy, but somehow half of the restaurant is blocked by a wall whereby the front counter is, so I guess when youre ready to order just make sure you grab their attention. Service could be a little bit slow compared to other casual japanese restaurants but hey its worth the wait 🙂
I ordered Beef Udon T/A and my partner ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and Gyoza’s T/A, both meals were very yummy and they satisfied our taste buds. Customer service is excellent, friendly telephone manner. I will continue to make orders from Sakura Sushi in the future 🙂
Went back to Sakura after 6 months to have my dinner. It took half an hour to serve even though it was not busy at all. The Ramen I ordered was just like normal instant noodle and was soggy. Soup was tasteless. Another disc we ordered was salmon Donburi. With much disappointment the side salad was so so watery and the fish was soaked. Told the staff about the problem and they seem alright without much concern. Totally disappointed and will not go back again.
This is our go to ramen joint when at home as its just around the corner. So for convenience they get top marks. Their broth and noodles and great and the egg is always cooked well.I’d say they are a little on the pricey side though for the size you get, especially as the ramen costs few dollars more for dinner than lunch eventhough you’re getting the same size meal.
Very very good ramen! The butter corn ramen was fantastic. The soup was delicious and the beef was so tender. The beef tataki was also extremely good – very soft. Really enjoyed the green tea ice cream mochi which I’ve never had before, very fresh with a true green tea flavour. Found it very reasonably priced for the quality and portions.
The serve of the food is extremely small even for kids, the sashimi like a shit the thickness was tiny like a paper and it costs $19 for a few papers. We been told the small absorbed sashimi souls have 16pieces but it came out only 12 pieces and tiny like a almost transparent. However, all combine together is only the 2-4normal sizes of sashimi outside. The ramen soup is made from instant paste, the add on side for ramen costs $4 for a few pieces of shit. Strong warning to whom is try to be this suck place. And the staffs wasn’t speak basic English. Is a hell.
