I had never eaten sushi until watching the staff prepare them here. It is great that the items to sale can be collected yourself without having to ask for them from the staff like other place I have seen sushi. I have asked the staff to prepare some beautiful vegetarian style sushi which they have been most accomodating doing. I find if I ask when I arrive they go back when I have finished the rest of the shopping it is all ready for me to collect. Can be a bit expensive but as I have never bought sushi anywhere else I don’t have anything to compare too. The ones I have purchased have been beautiful.

I WAS initially hesitant to buy sushi from supermarket, but man dont they look so pretty and mouth-watering and lo and behold I finally succumbed to the temptation and I bought one and it was actually really really good. Now, I am a regular at Sushi Izo be it for lunch, dinner or even a quick afternoon tea.Appearance is the key in their sushi attracting customers. The way they design their sushi, the colors, the plating, the use of additional ingredient drizzled on top of the sushi is just captivating. Quality is not bad, the sushi is fresh and they put the appropriate ingredient and sauces to bring up the flavour. I have eaten many different variety and so far no complain.Time obviously is not an issue since its all ready to go. Price is average initially one (like me) might think its pricey because its in woolsworth and compared to other ready food there, it did seem a bit high. But if you compared with other sushi chain outside, it is actually on par, not cheap, but not that expensive either. Sometimes there was element of service too the chefs they usually greeted you and said thank you went you pick up one or two sushi. Great job on that, again, considering it is in supermarket.One advice, since it is for takeaway, you might want to plan ahead on how many wasabi you need it came with one small sachet per meal you might want to ask more before going away later on to realise you need more.
