We ordered the butter chicken, lamb korma and the paneer with garlic naan. Prompt and professional service, flavourful and memorable dishes…just YAAHHHM!! I also suggest getting the mango lassy to accompany the meal perfectly. Will not eat the entire day beforehand next time so I can fit more in and roll home afterward!
Will never be back here again, my family spent almost $100 on food that tastes bland, the containers were full of water, hardly any meat and the meat that was in our meals was tough and dry, the beans you could tell that they were from a frozen bag and just reheated with oil and garlic. The dalh was all water and mushy had no taste at all. I would not be surprised if they just re heated their food, waste of food and a waste of our money not even going to throw any of it to the chooks! on the plus side they gave us a free rice …
We stumbled across this place by accident on the net and decided to give it a go. Whilst trying to make a phone order, they were ridiculously busy which is always a good sign, even better was the fact we receive a free medium rice with the order! The meal was amazing! I had the Chicken Kukul Mas Curry and hubby got the chef’s special spicy fish curry, we also shared a garlic naan. The only negative was the fact that there was alot of sauce and not alot of meat, nonetheless, we will give these guys a second shot as the food itself was delicious!
purchased TAKEAWAY chicken curry (mild), yellow saffon basmati rice and garlic naan bread.absolutely delicious… chicken was tender, sauce was tasty and hardy any oil (unlike some other restaurants ive been to), rice was good (a small white rice came with the dish too, so 2x rice in total), and garlic naan was spot on.price came to $32 for all of this. very well priced… essentially $16 per person for a couple to be completely full, and not feel bloated or have a greasy feel or anything.very pleased with this place. definitely will make a return visit again
More like thousand litres of oil. Had butter chicken and butter naan tonight service was very good pity the food was so ordinary absolutely no flavour and all you saw before opening the lid was oil so greasy very disappointed as this was our first take away from them in a while.
Our local. Love having this place around the corner…beautiful Indian food at reasonable prices!! BYO a bonus as we can take our favourite red and enjoy all our favourite dishes!! Highly recommend the butter chicken, Lamb korma and the Thousand Spices Chefs Stir-fry which happens to be our kids favourite too!!! Hidden gem this restaurant and book first as it does get very busy and it’s not a large restaurant either
A Hidden Gem!. We went here on a recommendation. The curries were delicious, tasted very fresh and well prepared. The korma and the chefs special each had very unique flavours, you could taste all the spices that went in to the gravies. The mild korma was devoured by our toddler as well as us, it was a hit. We will be back!
