got the ham and egg one and it was really good!!! tasty and filling. generous amounts of egg and ham. only gripe is the price ($8.50) but hey, it’s perth and we pay too much for everything right? will definitely be back to try the other ones!
The yummiest most deliciously filled and rolled crepe I’ve ever had!! Icecream, bananas, brownies, Nutella, chocolate sauce and whipped cream all filled in a large round crepe
I had always been wanting to try their Matcha Azuki Bean crepe at Okyee and I managed to chance upon it while I was shopping at Carousel! The ingredients of the crepe include azuki beans, a scoop of matcha ice cream, whipped cream, sauce and of course green tea crepe. I would definitely like to compliment their generous serving of azuki beans and the matcha ice cream that was in my crepe. There are approximately 3 to 4 tables behind the store where it allows you to dine in. Their customer service was great too, friendly staff and is always happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to their crepes. I also like how you are able to see them make your crepe from scratch. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and to anyone who is reading this review!
I am a Okyee Virgin, and I was more than satisfied .. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy beef crepe and the balances of flavours put together with so much love by the little Japanese lady was a masterpiece. $8.50 a bargain and I can’t wait to go back to try another
I tried the savoury crepe is sooooooooo nice. Especially the lobster one.It is much bigger than what i thoughtAnd the service is so friendly.
Tried this place today only because the Gelare upstairs forgot to make my waffles and by that stage, I had a serious craving. I ordered the simple nutty one ($6.80) — first crepe on the menu decked out with a scoop of vanilla icecream, whipped cream, peanut butter sauce and caramel sauce. Was it nice? Yep definitely. Was it the world’s best crepe? Not by a long shot but it’s more than acceptable for daggy Carousel where the dining options are increasingly crappy.Okyee was worth the money on this occasion for me but it’s a once in 6-12mo treat.
Mmm delicious! Tried the matcha with azuki red bean. The guy at the counter told me it wouldn’t be too sweet (perfect!!!) Love that we can see our crepes being made and when mine was ready the lady asked me if I wanted to take a photo-she proceeded to place my crepe into the holder giving me a perfect shot 🙂 Definitely will go back there-amazing service as well as taste. It’s good to finally have a desserts that don’t overkill on the sweetness (proper Japan dessert mmmm)
