We were passing and thought we would give it a go. Very impressed, the food is to a high standard and the staff are very friendly. We had a share plate, it was a a good selection of bread, cold meats and pickles, all washed down with some delightful cider. Very nice.
This place used to be great but it has sadly started to go down hill. The staff are still wonderful and friendly, the grounds are still well maintained and clean but the food quality isn’t fantastic. They have an awesome menu, it is inventive, different and very appealing, but they do not execute the meals correctly. Poached eggs are overcooked, bread is cut to thick and unevenly and meals do not come out complete (not what is expected from the menu descriptions). I hope this restaurant starts to improve soon
