Let’s start with the positives: this was the only place left available with short notice. The beers we drank were actually good – the Enigma Ale, Australian Pils and Debilitator were decent brews. The lines are clean and the beers are relatively fresh. The debilitator is touted as a Belgian dark ale but that is inaccurate – its more toward a Porter or Stout and has toasty burn toast flavours that a Belgian ale wouldn’t have to those levels. The biggest deficiency in this venue is the food. The food is unacceptable and an embarrassment. You can’t charge people $23 for a pizza that should cost $8. It tasted worse than school pizzas made by tuckshop ladies. The dough was nothing like a pizza base should be, the ingredients were cheap, the cheese was awful and there was nothing Woodfire in the texture or flavour – I suspect it’s a blatant lie.I looked at the platters and other meals and people looked amused and disappointed. The best thing this place should do is to focus on their beers and rent out their space to competent caterers or chefs. Their kitchen should be shut down and the chef sacked and banished to Siberia for eternity.

This was such a disappointment. The $60 platter was appalling and should have been left in the 80’s. Total rip off and pizzas were less than appealing,Visit other places! In the swan valley.

Ironbark needs to up their game. The venue is grubby, has that ‘sticky’ feeling over the tables and chairs and there is only 1 female toilet for an entire restaurant, especially when this venue caters to multiple bus tours. The food is very standard, with the offerings of today ironbark needs to up their game. Very cheesy pizza with very scarce cheap toppings (sliced back olives from a jar), there $60 share platter that consisted of multiple items taken from jars and tins placed on vine leaves. The meat was slice so thin it was hardly a slice of meat. The Asian platter were literally the dim sum assortment from a box reheated. There are MUCH better venues in the swan valley for lunch, don’t waste your time

Bit of a mess of a place in terms of staff organisation but it has a bit of atmosphere and we all enjoyed our meals. Tried a few of their beers and all were very tasty.

Went here for my 20th birthday, my friends and i received 4 pizzas and 5 plates of wedges, at $18 a head for 45 people this is shocking, bloody scam, dont waste your money.

Dont book your wine tours here, they serve you barely any food and take advantage of the situation charging an outrageous $18 a head @ 45 people. We got nuff all food, and my entire group left starving.
