This is food you would make for yourself at home. But at least it’s not over-priced. Just don’t expect too much. The wine choices were extremely poor and you cannot sample before you buy. We ordered the pricier wine and it was not pleasant. Staff are friendly for wait staff are not trained or professional. Had to request napkins, glassware, cutlery etc.
Swan valley diner. Just had lunch here with friends. I had the vegetable parcels. I have had these many times and always thoroughly enjoyed them. My friends also enjoyed their meals. We have been here many times over the past twenty years and never had a bad meal. Marjorie and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who likes good food in a relaxed and friendly place.

Good value in the Swan Valley. This restaurant was near the wineries we were planning to visit so we decided to give it a go. The food is very well priced for lunch, nothing over $30 dollars. The portions are representative of this price. The food isn’t fancy but was tasty. We paid 69 dollars for an entree, two mains and three glasses of wine. The service could have been a bit speedier given there weren’t many people in the restaurant but the owner came to speak to us personally several times and we found him to be lovely. I would recommend the restaurant and would happily go back.
