Had a beautiful New Years Eve dinner here.Lovely looking restaurant, classy, and great staff. Entree of yabbi, crocodile and buffalo. Main course of fish if the day , snapper and seafood arroz caldos. All delicious.
Had a good meal – here my friend had complicated dietary restrictions and the chef’s manage them very well. The waiting staff were attentive and understood some of the complexities she had. The fish was slightly overdone and was fine tasting. My dish had saffron and seafood Bisque and prawns on fennel with was a delightful seafood broth. I would recommend a place to go. I’m astounded there are no views given out when he’s got so many views but was a pretty good occasion. I’ll happily recommend Lime 303.
Friendly and responsive service, really good food and a nice atmosphere. Really doesn’t get any better than this. I had the seafood cacciucco for my mains with the sweet treats one night and surf and turf for mains and ginger sponge for dessert the next. Food and service were consistently good both times.
I have probably mentioned that I travel WA a fair bit as part of my work which is awesome. I not only get to explore the beautiful outback scenery but also the food each place has to offer. Lime 303 is attached to the Dog Rock Motel which is handy if you are staying there on business. The service is quite slow on a busy night but the staff are friendly. I would recommend making a booking as the place can fill up quite quickly. The boss and I ordered drinks and had some bar food – which were polenta chips and calamari. The polenta chips were nice, crunchy and fluffy. The calamari had a yummy seasoning to it however I would like to mention that the calamari serving size was tiny! Especially for paying approximately $15. We then ordered our mains. The moussaka definitely caught my eye and consisted of all the things I love – seafood, creamy sauce and eggplant! The portion sizes are okay but I think it would have been a bit bigger. Nice flavours but could have been a bit more flavoursome in my opinion.
Great restaurant hidden away in a standard 70’s motel. The decor is modern and staff very attentive and friendly. portions were small (somewhat nouvelle cuisine like) but the quality and flavours were superb. obviously a lot of care goes into the selection of items and preparation and preparation. Overall, if you are really hungry go elsewhere – if you want real quality in Albany try this!
