Stopped by for Devonshire tea and it was good. Nice tea and scones were warm and nice jam used. Service was pretty average, a bit on the slow side. Iced mocha was nice too.
Open early. Lovely service. Hot coffee. Servings on the smaller side of salmon and avo- not bad though as priced for smaller servings. No fuss with ordering sides either.
Customer service needs a tweak.Being new there I was disappointed that the staff would not make a slight adjustment to my breakfast order, i.e bread type. I found the Irish girl to be unwilling to make me want to spend money though I went ahead anyway.However, I noticed a change of attitude of her when ‘regulars’ came into the cafe, with her being very ‘pleasant’ to them!I don’t like preferential treatment and so felt disappointed with the attitude.The coffee and breakfast was OK but the attitude towards NEW CUSTOMERS needs addressing.
My first time in Albany and I had to try the waffles with banana Nutella and nuts. They were really tasty but they were a little big soggy, the toppings were perfect. This was probably the best place I ate at here.
Had been craving French toast for weeks! It was so good and food came out at the same time as the coffee which I liked especially. (I added extra bacon)Brad
