One of the worst kebab shops i have ever been in to, staff are EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rude, me and a mate walked in on a friday night for a feed of kebabs, we stood at the counter and the guy working there looked at us then went back to carving meat, we waited, i said mate can we order and he points to the other end of the counter so we walked there and no one came to serve. in the end we walked out.what a shit business attitude this place has
My brother reccomended that we visit the Kabul Cafe to get some traditional Afghani food. I’d never had it before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We order two shish kebab meal that consisted of 3 large skewers of meat that are freshly cooked, a large flat bread, salad and sauces, all of which come seperately. To eat it you need to break a bit of the bread and put a bit of meat salad sauce and spices to your liking. The quality was extremely good especially for $15 a meal. By the end of it we were both stuffed. I will definately be coming back.
Food is delicious, and the servings are quite generous. A very friendly staff is always ready to welcome you, can provide very good deals if you are having a party or big get together. My favorite is the skewer meal which comes with an enormous Afghani bread and three skewers of your choice and salad and dips.
The food here is quite good, very generous servings, although the premise is half restaurant, half imported goods shop. There’s a raised carpet for sitting on and eating, in the middle eastern style, and they have the large shish-kebab skewered meats on the menu, which adds a bit more to the repertoire than your average kebab shop.
