Went to Mori based on a recommendation from a food website. We ordered the sashimi, beef curry, sushi rolls, okonomiyaki and salmon teriyaki. Overall, was a negative experience unfortunately with the food and service. The sashimi and sushi rolls were good and fresh. However the beef curry was tasteless and the salmon teriyaki was very sweet. The okomiyaki was the biggest disappointment given that it was half-burned and when we spoke to the waitress about it, she refused to do anything and just acted dumb by literally standing there and not saying a word. Overall service also was quite slow and unresponsive – we asked for some water and had to ask another few times before it was eventually brought to the table. Portions were also small compared to other Japanese places we have been to and the food is pretty pricey. Unlikely to return based on this experience.

This little place in Inglewood next to the library and does some mighty good food. Service can be a bit hit and miss but well worth it. Their signature sushi rolls are great, their okonomyaki is some of the best I have had. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Opened for lunch during the week, but not on weekends. Dinner only then.
