  Nice historic inn, with character. Came here on a drive north. Lots of history in the National Park & Inn. I think they were managers to be luke-warm without a smile. The rest of the staff had a smile and were pleasant to chat with. Don’t know if was the Friday local but the majority of patrons were 60+. The food was nice, there is a pretty good size menu and daily specials. I had the Friday Schnitzel with a pepper sauce and my guest ordered the fish & chips. Both had nice flavour and worth ordering.   Disappointing. How disappointing. We visited this restaurant about a year ago, both my husband and I enjoyed the Surf n Turf, even though it was very expensive. Don’t mind paying for good quality. We visited this restaurant again a few weeks ago and we were both extremely disappointed with quality of the food. Once again, we ordered the Surf n Turf, however, this time the ‘turf’ was a small piece of fish!! Very unusual combination and definitely would not have this again. Overall the quality of this dish was a let down, especially for the price!!. Won’t be back again. Menu on internet not up-to-date. This place is great if you just want a beer and bar snack. The view at the rear of the restaurant is great, especially tourists as there is an abundance of kangaroos (and birds) in the evening. Very enjoyable to watch.
