Amazing food and drinks! Thoroughly recommend, great atmosphere. Treat yourself to a wonderful meal and great service. Good selection of tapas plates as well as main courses. The bar section down the front is very inviting. And for those less daring the upstairs area is great too. This will be a regular thank you Maestro !
Girls lunch. We walked in and there was only 1 table of customers but we decided to give it a go. We chose 5 entrees to share as it was 4 ladies celebrating a birthday. The black ink risotto was outstanding, squid was even better.We were very happy with our decision . The food was outstanding and the service even better. We are looking forward to retuning with our husbands very soon.
Good company & good food.. Everyone is on the search. Maestro, not only serves fantastic food & fabulous cocktails, it serves customers with the excellence in service that we deserve. The pasta with Maron & those polenta chips … My favourite ! Branch out and try something different … We did and we weren’t disappointed … We had a minced meat dish with raw egg … Who would ever thought raw meat & raw mince together with herbs would taste so GREAT! Yum!!! Cocktail bar is funky… Can’t wait to go back… Desserts yum! …. Something for everyone Everything is yum! Yum! Yum! For those who review a restaurant on the interior like previous reviews… Try the cocktails & at least 8 dishes on the menu like my friends, husband & I did … The food captured our most important senses & the would delicious is how I would describe maestro. The service =impeccable … The whole package is classy, this is exactly what Claremont deserves- a restaurant with fair pricing & decent size servings. Enjoy… We will be back ! Thankyou.
Great service great food. We went for lunch last week, the quality of food and service has been outstanding.The calamari were tender and tasty, the prosciutto the best I had in a long time and the steak tartare as good as that one I had in Paris.Highly recommended, will definitely go back for more
Maestro dining experience.. We had lunch on Mother’s Day at Maestro along with my sister and family. For entree we had homemade pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil it was hearty and thoroughly delicious. Some had grilled calamari with a slaw salad which was equally enjoyed. For main course we had tempura prawns with a creamy sauce. The prawns were tasty and the tempura batter lovely and light but my only criticism of this dish would be the sliced mushrooms in the plate which added nothing to the dish. They didn’t marry well together. It could have done with some freshness either through some peas or zucchini or even an Interesting combo of broccoli I etc. just a small criticism. The complimentary bread (which was one of the best bread we have tasted) and the appetiser tray of olives, eggplant etc. was a very nice touch. It’s only been open 3 weeks so I’m sure there will be small improvements to come. The girls toilet badly needs a mirror ( this is a must). Paintings along the long stark wall will generate a but if colour but the fit out of the restaurant is very welcoming. All in all we had a fabulous eating experience and the staff were attentive and friendly. Would strongly recommend Prices border on fine dining but the food was of a high quality.
Good dinner. Although my ceviche and later squid wasn’t particuarly great, the others at my table ate the lamb, salmon and bug pasta and raved about their meals. The salmon in particular was incredible! We are early mid week and were a little harassed by the staff, in the nicest possible way. But I am fairly certain they were all getting trained, and I think the owner is obviously very concerned that everything runs well for the start of this new venture. Expensive but judging by my friends meals worth it! Hoping to head back soon to try something a little better on the mene for myself.
NO thanks. Not an impressive vibe, did not like the owner at all,I got told by someone they have an impressive wine list however it was very 1980’s, yes, 35 years behind in their drinks, very boring beer list and the food wasn’t the best,Bogans will love this place but people with an understand of good food, drinks and service won’t, it’s trying to be something else that it’s not.
