Came for a mid week dinner for two and it was very quiet (only 2 other tables). Started with the endamame (boiled & lacking salt), the spider roll sushi (ordinary), tori karaage (a bit burnt) & the Nasu dengaku eggplant which was tasty. Agedashi tofu was forgettable but the teriyaki fish was nice. Overall the food was not bad but it just wasnt great or memorable either. Restaurant setting was nice and the staff seemed friendly enough, but overall just an ordinary experience.
Best japanese in Perth. If your dining in i recommend the bento box. Very high quality authentic japanese food. The service is lovely. The lunches are great too.
Exceptionally bad service. We have a group of 12 people and are sitting on a long table. At the back there are another two tables of 3 and 4. I am sitting on the right end of the table and the older lady keeps telling me to move inwards in order for her to get to the table at the back left when there is another path on the left hand side to get to the table behind. I tell her that I can’t constantly keep moving and I will not be comfortable if I sit extremely close to the table. I suggest that she can move our tables further outwards so there will be a path in between the tables but she says no, gives me an evil and annoyed stare and strongly says I should sit closer to the table. Is it I have no say to how I sit on a chair? Furthermore, she has only told me to move closer and not the other guy who is sitting back to back to me. Not to mention that there are more tables in the restaurant that she could of placed the other customers or us so that there will not be this uncomfortable situation.By the way, I am Chinese and the other customers are Caucasian. Just telling me to move and not others. Racism? Never coming back again.
