Right next to reading cinema we were looking for a quick bite near home. Entering the restaurant the sushi train caught our eye first. Menu offered various asian crusines including japanese, thai and vietnamese.Waiteress was friendly and prompt, food was better than we were expecting.Decent portions and reasonable prices. Not the most authentic asian food, but i doubt thats what they were aiming for. Will be back for sure!
Wheelchair access was a breeze, usually I’m lower than the sushi trains and end up being lowed than the rest of the people. This time I was level with friend and reaching trains food was easyFood was delicious and there was many new sushi choices from regular sushi selectionAnother place to become regular at
Yay! So glad Tao is closer to home now. Really fresh, simple dishes. Tried the Laksa – super spicy but full of flavour and lovely plump prawns and fresh crunch veg. Also went with the Bao which light and fluffy and lovely. Cant wait to go again!
Nice atmosphere but food wasn’t good at all.We had 2 plates of sushi, lacked flavour and avo had turned brown.Pad Thai had burned aftertaste as they had burnt the chicken, tofu or spices and mixed it with the rest.Bao ban tastelessSpring rolls and drinks good.Used to like Tao in East Vic Park, first time to try Belmont. Not going back.
Nice to find a decent place to eat without having to go into the city. Friendly service. Menu designed for Australian taste buds. But thats ok.
