Came here for the first time and noticed very limited choices on the menu. Food came out not long after we placed our order. The club sandwich we had taste pretty average but the ingredients inside are quite fresh. Wanted to ordered the sweet potato chips but they told me it wasn’t available so we settled with wedges instead. Wedges were crispy and hot but just far too salty for my liking. Service was very friendly.
Half the menu wasnt available at 1pm. Food took a very long time to come, about 40 minutes for salad. Staff didnt acknowledge wait and were more keen on focusing on closing. Wouldnt go back.
Place looks nice but music is so loud you can talk to one another, staff were rude and serviced regulars that just walked in before serving us standing at the till. Food came with hair in it and looked like something out of a packet, pancakes looked like something from McDonalds and the eggs were something anyone could do with there eyes closed. Coffee tasted weird and the cutlery was not clean!
Bit of a cluttered Cafe, mix of pub, bar and Cafe vibes in here. But it’s more of a local venue I guess. Nice friendly staff and welcomes dogs – surprising. Had the Royal Breakfast and the Akuri (curried egg with coriander). So so, nothing fancy and the scrambled eggs was just too buttery. The toast would have been better slightly toasted rather than plain. Did the job though, not bad but a filling feed.
Tried this place the other day. Made our order at the counter and paid. Our coffee and meals took a while to come. When the coffees eventually came, the waitress was was apologetic. Our food came a short while later. We ordered the zucchini, corn, potato fritters with poached eggs, rocket and dukkah and avocado sweet chilli dip. The poached eggs were over cooked, a bit disappointed with that. But the fritters were delicious. The royal breakfast was so so. The breakfast pizza was delicious though. Very creamy with the hollandaise sauce. Might come back to try other dishes later.
Disappointing after this place was raved about. I had the royal breakfast with orange juice. The poached eggs were hard, the toast was dry, the baked beans were cold and from a can. The bacon was tough, the hashbrowns tasted like old oil. The mushrooms were good though! OJ was bitter and mostly ice, wobbly dirty table and rubbish cutlery to eat with. It’s a shame because the atmosphere sitting outside on a lovely Saturday morning was great.
Flat white in mug for $6 was average and well over priced. Pancakes strawberries and cream for $16.50 was very dry and not that good.French toast $15.50 was below averageNot a very clean place . We are the first customer this morning and our table did still have crumbles left all over from last night.
