Great place and great food. Nice cozy place with good service. However, its hidden at a corner and hard to notice. Need more exposure. Thumbs up
This little gem tucked away in cockburn is our go to for take away. Great quality Japanese for an amazing price with decent portion sizes! Only downside is that its well hidden and not enough signage to attract new customers
Words tells a story but sometime photos make a bit more sense. Not a place ran by Japanese owner, but I enjoyed myself every time I am here.
I have no idea why the rating for Heiroku is so low. This is my favourite Japanese place in the area, amazing value for money and the taste is like no other. The meals are delicious, well portioned and they never skimp out with meat. My favourite is the katsu chicken don but the sushi rolls are amazing too. An added bonus is that the owners/staff are SO friendly and nice, they always remember their regulars which makes the experience personable and welcoming.
This place is a hidden gem and current rating is well below what it should be hence my 5 rating. Karage and their bento sets are highly recommended and excellent value. The owners are also very friendly. Their ramen is only so so though
So glad my friend recommended this place! It’s not somewhere you would stumble upon as it is a bit tucked away and is hard to tell if the restaurant is open from a distance. Once you find it though, you’re in luck as the food is delicious and comes in a nice big portion. We both ordered the chicken karaage bento set. The bento comes with rice, salad, miso soup, potato salad & 1 katsu prawn. All for $14.00! Such a bargain for the quantity and quality of the food. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is nicely maintained. Will be back next time I’m craving a big delicious Japanese meal.
Went in on a weekday. Was really quiet. I wonder why they have such a dark blockout to their glass. I thought they were closed because they look so dark. Pictures of food look good. Ordered tonkatsu ramen, karaage bento set and chicken avocado sushi. Tonkatsu ramen was so so. Like the texture of the noodles but soup was not the best. Bento set is pretty good. Karaage came with sauce all over it. I enjoyed it with the rice very much. However was a bit disappointed with the potato salad. It tasted abit off. Not sure if it’s the ingredients used or it’s really not fresh. Sushi was average. The sushi rice was a bit overpowered with the vinegar. Not bad to have a Jap joint in the suburb but fellow Bento Bomb round the corner can be a tough competitor to beat. Will be back for their bento set and also to try the donburi.
