First time visit with friends. The pub was lively which gave it a great atmosphere, we’d booked a table and were glad we had as the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. There’s a lot of choice on the menu and it seemed to cater for all tastes. We thought the steaks were a little pricey for a pub and like most places there was a large mark up on bottles of wine but you couldn’t grumble at the $10 pints. Two of the party had the ribs which were very tender, the piri piri chicken burger was flavoursome and the green curry was described as delicious. The chips are the frozen variety and the ribs would have benefited from the addition of some coleslaw for one of the party who ordered them. A minor thing (but something of a pet hate) was that the ribs and burger were served on plastic trays rather than plates Service was excellent with bar and wait staff polite and friendly and it’s well worth a visit.

I don’t think the serving sizes need to be quite so big, no one at our table was close to finishing their plates. Food is quite nice- on its own would be 3.5 stars. Overall, there is a good atmosphere, it’s family friendly, the staff were perfect and it was a pleasant evening so I would visit again on occasion and recommend to others as a place to try
