We decided to have the wife’s birthday dinner at Bistro 38 as they had some deals on that are very good (2 for 1 cocktails and children eat free).The food was delightful, I had the fish of the day, a very agreeable gold band snapper, it was presented and cooked very well. The children’s meals were very good, decent portion size too. Everyone at the table had positive feedback on their meals, we all had a starter, the prawns were great as was that arancini balls, pate and calamari, steaks were very good, but I think the crackling on the pork belly was a bit chewy, other than that small issue, a fantastic evening.The staff were very good and attentive. I would definately recommend Bistro 38, all together it was a nice dining experience.
Its a really nice setting, and sitting outside overlooking the pool is lovely. The food was quite nice, but a little pricey for what it is. We also found the service quite slow. Its not a bad place, and I did quite enjoy my meal, but wont be rushing back
