Went there for curry with friends last Saturday we had the tasting plate, not too bad, onion bhaji was flat and when you cut into it grease oozed out. Most of the dishes were not really hot as temperature and looked like they had been sitting in their bowls for a while in fact one of the chicken dishes had a skin forming and needed to be stirred to make it look appetising. The garlic naan bread was also greasy and flat. All in all very disappointing and a waste of money.

Struggle to find a decent take away curry sometimes but this place is too good! Mushroom Mutter and Lamb Madras, plus the usual bits and bobs. Highly recommend!

This was the second week of our ‘Curry Safari’ to find the best Indian restaurant in our neighbourhood. For those of you that know it, our regular haunt is the Essence Of India in Kinross so we have what we consider a high benchmark to start with. So the Haandi, what can we say? 5 stars all the way. Our first impression of the building and decor was great, the staff (young lady called Raj) was pleasant, knowledgable and attentive although the restaurant was strangely empty. The food was superb and our own proprietary Curry Safari scoring system came in with a whopping 87%. This is going to be hard to beat. Highly recommended. See you there, we will be back for sure.

I can’t fault this place I have been 5 times so far and also had a few take aways. The resturant is well laid out and very nice to eat in. The food is reasonable priced and gorgeous. We have tried the madras, tikki masala, butter chicken, haandi curry and they have all been top quality. The naans are lovely and not over cooked and there is always enough for everybody. Also they give you a discount card which is a nice touch.

Our first visit here, the decor is very pleasant, the service good and prompt, our meals were tasty, we had a Haandi chicken curry medium and a dum haandi chicken mild, served with saffron rice a garlic naan and roti bread. Generally a very good dining experience, the medium curry could have been a shade hotter, next time I will have a hot dish. We would recommend the Haandi to others.

Extremely disappointing. We have enjoyed the food at Anghiti immensely and since we moved North, we thought we will give Haandi a go as it is supposed to be a sister restaurant of the same. And what a disappointment it was.First of all the hose/waitress an Indian lady seemed to be extremely disinterested in serving us and was quite curt. We ordered the non veg platter, haandi chicken, garlic naan and peas pulav.1) Non veg platter – was lukewarm rather than hot. The sheekh kabab was hard, the chicken starters bland and tasteless. The fish smelled as well. 2) Haandi chicken – was bland and tasteless3) Garlic Naan – seemed to be ok but it got all hard once it became a bit cold.4) Peas Pulav – This was the worst ever. It was soggy saffron rice which was flooded with overboiled peas. Horrible!Considering the fact that we like Anghiti, this was a major disappointment! Haandi Never Again!

Terrible service. Went there for dinner with large family on Mother’s day, food took forever to come. We arrived at 6pm and didn’t get our mains till 8pm although we had ordered at 7pmm kids screaming. On complaining to one of the waiters, we were told it’s coming but eventually arrived 20 more minutes later. Same thing happened to my friends who dined there few weeks back. Don’t think will be going back there again.
