Ordered some takeaway Satay Beef, Chilli Prawns and Fried Rice. Huge delicious portions! Even the prawns were large and there were plenty of them. Best Chinese takeaway in the Northern Suburbs!
Take away Thursday night, ordered garlic chilli king prawns, barbecued pork ribs in plums sauce and special fried rice. Prices are a tad high for Chinese, all dishes almost $23, $13 for rice, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you crave chinese food like I do occasionally, this is your destination if your local.
Its just standard chinese food. Nothing amazing. But not bad. You wont be dissapointed but u wont be impressed. Lemon chicken is nice. Its byo for all you broke skips that cant go 30 minutes without a beer but cant afford to buy one in a restaurant either
The food is average. The dining is nice but the food is fairly expensive for what it is. i usally spend around $50 on take away and dont even get any free prawn crackers?!? poor customer service woth the take away. Many better chinese places relatively close by (sung seng in woodvale).
It’s not so terrible but I actually can’t believe the 5/5 reviews… Have had food here on numerous times, mostly take away. The meat is not good quality – beef is very squishy. Veggies don’t seem fresh either – last time ordered chinese veg with oyster sauce and it was so stringy and tough, other places it’s fresh and crunchy. Sauces seem overly sweet and gluggy – overdoing it on the cornflour and sugar? Not in any way authentic food either. It’s okay if you’re looking for an oily overpriced meal… I gave up on this place a while ago…
Atmosphere was pleasant. Food was a big let down. Ordered ma po tofu and Mongolian lamb hotpot. Both stated spicy. Ma Po tofu tasted like last nights pizza and Mongolian lamb was smothered with peppers and Hoi sin sauce. Not recommended for authentic Asian food lovers.
nice place for dinner. Tasty food and pleasant staff. Wouldn’t recommend for those with a pram or restless youngsters as there is not much room to move around between tables
