Had a great meal here. Not greasy and order came in a box so stayed crunchy when we got it home. Pay a little more than some places but didnt mind as was great quality seafood
After ordering our fish and chips at 3pm for pick up at 6pm,I arrived just before 6pm to pick up the order. I waited over 45 mins for the order to be prepared. When I enquirered if my order would be ready soon as someone who ordered in store 10 minutes after me had just received their order,the young girl at the counter was extremely rude and said you can see that we are busy. Obviously I could see it was busy BUT if I was organised enough to ring through an order 3hrs earlier I would expect to receive my order before a walk in who ordered after me. The girl at the teller then yell out if your not happy do you want a refund- however after waiting for 50 minutes I obviously do not want a refund! The young girl then proceeded to throw my order on the bench, I had requested vinegar and asked the young girl to place this in the order, and she slammed the bottle of vinegar on the counter without uttering a word-to self serve- disgusting service and attitude of the staff. Even if your busy you should still be providing some level of service- not a rude attitude!
Pleasantly surprised by the F&C’s here. As Zed’s has been closed for a long time during renovation we have tried different places trying to find somewhere consistent and good – Coogee Plaza is it. The chips are always well cooked and salted, fish is nice and not overly fishy taste. The batter isn’t too heavy. I have really enjoyed the few times we’ve had food from here and would definitely recommend.
Great service, friendly staff! Fish and chips tasted great. I live a decent distance from the store, but will always travel to Coogee for their fish and chips!
Come down to get my fish and chips every week and the staff are always working hard to deliver the best fish and chips in Perth! 5/5 for taste, price and customer service!
Delicious fish and chips! Had the shark, chips and a pineapple fritter – was all fresh, crisp and full of flavour! The staff were also friendly and efficient, considering the line up of customers they had! Will be back again and would recommend it.
Ive been going to coogee fish and chips for years. I personally cant fault them. I love the fact they use boxes most of the time instead of paper!! it leaves the batter cripsy and not soggy!! Decent prices and you can always tell its good at how busy it is. A weekend doesn’t go by where that place isnt full!!! Its the talk of the town and many people rave about it! Ofcourse it sucks when you have to wait. But coming from a hospitality background im very understanding of that and i believe people will wait for quality food!! If i had something negative to say it would be a bigger carpark as its so hard to find a park but thats out of there control. Keep up the good work guys
