People rate this place low because it’s a pokies venue and that is so wrong, the food is fantastic, the service is exceptional and the prices are sensational, I had the mushrooms arancini with aioli, then the pork belly, my wife had the cheesy garlic bread and chicken snitzel with mushroom sauce, both entrees and both mains were absolutely heavenly, we’ve eaten here 3 times and every time absolutely amazing, and if you want an awesome drink with tea you can either go to the bar or try the iced coffee from the Cafe it is awesome! Don’t underestimate the moama bowling club they’re sensational for food and fantastic for pokies too, slaughters the hell out of crown casino or any other pokies venue in Victoria!

Note you can sign up to become a member for $5 to receive discounts on food and drinks.Setting- this place is huge! It’s like a mini casino. A cafe, bistro, 2 bars, pokies and another restaurant all in the 1 building. They have a free bus that can pick you up and take you home. The place was alive! Service was 10/10. Very friendly. We didn’t have a booking so there was a 30minute wait for a table. We simply sat in the bar having drinks before we were sent a text message to let us know our table was ready.Food – we ate in the bistro. The meals for amount paid were awesome. I got a lamb shank on mash potato while my wife got the battered whiting. Both meals were very nice and large. Only paid $18 for lamb and $19 for whiting. The chips were a little disappointing, tasted like oil was getting old. Conclusion – if you want a value for money pub meal with cheap drinks ($6.30 for schooner of beer) highly recommend this place. Remember to sign up.
