The cafe’s name seems changed a bit and not sure if the management changed as well, some new faces. We just had a morning tea. The coffees were average. The muffin was ordinary too, the texture likes a spongy cake more.
Handy place stop off for a takeaway muffin when leaving the Margaret river area early. Friendly quick service. My blueberry muffin was nicely baked. Will remember next time I’m in the area.
Cowaramup itself is a fun place to visit. The town is located about 10 km from Margaret River, it has a small village atmosphere and a cute cow theme. The bakery is the busy hub of the street where locals, travellers and families are constantly rolling in for their daily bread, caffeine hit or hot meat pie.We only planned to stop at Cowaramup Bakery for a grab and go coffee on our way to Augusta, but we spotted the pastry stand and gave into temptation. We ended up purchasing a blueberry muffin, danish pastry and some bread rolls for lunch, they were all fresh and delicious. The coffee wasn’t the worst I had in WA, it was ok. Overall – A friendly rural bakery surrounded by cows, well worth a visit.
Very nice little bakery. Great pies. Tried the standard steak pie. Pastry held together well without being too thick. The custard tart and lemon meringue pie were delicious. A great spot to stop off.
Great food. Me and my wife indulged in a chunky beef pie, curry pie, hedgehog and caramel slice.Pies are rich and full of rich fillings. Pastry was well cooked and then the sweets.Oh yes, the hedgehog slice and caramel slice was rich and decadent. The staff smiled on entry and the store was clean. Will return for those eclairs!
