A cold morning demands piping hot coffee. Sadly Boubar served me a lukewarm cappucino today, probably made to the standard 60-65deg temp but nowhere near hot enough to linger over breaky. My cup was cold before my toast came out.Gluten-free toast from Strange Grains was yummy as usual (Strange Grains is awesome) but was served with a boring butter sachet and generic-tasting jam.Service, like the coffee, was cold.Boubar is a cosy cafe with comfy chairs but mostly only for 2. The place isn’t big enough for groups. Would recommend if you’re in the area but Felix & Co up the road is a better spend for me.

A decent place for breakfast. Loved my muesli, the picture does not justify how good it tasted. I loved it. I even had a mango smoothie but it wasnt good, quite blend, wont recommend it. Nothing special abt the place but would still recommend a go.

We were amazed by the food and atmosphere of Boubar. We went for dinner and now have to come back for breakfast. Our host for the evening was great.

Nice small cafe close to the UWA campus (a nice walk from) with a good variety of food. Their coffee is quiet nice but expensive. Would suggest trying it out tho!

Wow! I was super impressed with this place! The only downside was the tables are really cramped together so there isn’t much room to move. I ordered the cardamom buttermilk pannacotta with cacao granola, macadamias and rhubarb. The pannacotta was so wobbly and creamy and the granola was crunchy and tasty. The rhubarb provided texture and tartness to balance out the sweet pannacotta.

Absolutely nailed a breakfast favourite of mine, the breakfast bruschetta. While the place itself is tiny with limited/squished seating options, it’s got a great menu, fantastic coffee and a good atmosphere. Got my approval

Nice place for catch ups or doing your own work. Bircher muesli isn’t usually my first choice as I always make it at home and this one was a bit disappointing..overly sweet and no figs as stated on the menu. Needed more fresh fruits. Bit pricey for what you get imo. dumplinglove.wordpress.com
