If Domino’s is a 1.5, Broadway is a 3. For a takeaway ‘fast food’ pizza, it’s pretty decent and for a similar price point, I’d take it any day of the week. Where it’s the norm to pay upwards of $20 for a LARGE pizza, it was refreshing to see a very generously sized family pizza for $17.80! On a gram by gram basis, these guys are about the same as your Pizza Huts and Domino’s with their fast diminishing sizes. With that in mind, my friends and I ordered the Sicilian, the BBQ Chicken and the Margarita. Whilst I can say the base, the crust and the cheese on all of them were quite crispy and satisfying, the margarita was covered in sliced tomato, which stylistically I am not a fan of as it makes it quite soggy and I’m not the biggest tomato fan and the BBQ chicken had the sickly sweet taste as though Masterfoods BBQ sauce was spread over it liberally with a trowel to the point where it was inedible to my taste. The Sicilian, however was quite tasty and overall very few complaints. Other than some quite bland pepperoni, the mix worked quite well. If that were the only pizza I’d had, this rating would look closer to a 3.5 or a 4.If you’re looking for an affordable, decent fast food pizza, Broadway is for you. If you’re looking for something high end, wood-fired and authentic, perhaps try elsewhere.
Made an account just to review these guys. BEST pizza in the golden triangle- cheap (& a hefty student discount), quick, and DELICIOUS. Would recommend to anyone looking for their new favourite pizza place.
We have had pickup pizzas from Broadway Pizza many times, good, reasonably-priced pizzas.Parking is difficult. They don’t accept AMEX.
I only discovered Broadway Pizza in my last year of uni, I really wished I found this earlier! The pizzas are full and always come out pipping hot and baked to perfection. The simple yet fresh and flavoursome toppings reminds us that sometimes the classics are always the best. They are also well priced as well, most likely to attract many of the university students dwelling in the area. Seating is limited to approximately a dozen, but that leaves you to an unlimited choice of scenery, such as the Matilda bay foreshore as your dining area.
2 large pizzas before night out with two girls. One from Japan the other from Aust. Busy night being Friday. We are waiting to go to a play. We ordered pepperoni and seafood. Large pizzas. On classic menu at $16.9 each. Good value and fast. Not a lot of seating. Something to take home and enjoy. Bit of a queue. But settled after a while. Crust was crunchy and light. Pepperoni was spicy and hot. Seafood was tasty.
Ordered a meat lovers, works and BBQ chicken last night and the pizzas were okay. Generously topped, medium thickness crust with a crisp base but nothing to rave about. The BBQ chicken with chicken, BBQ sauce, mushroom and onion looked really unappetizing when it arrived and we were convinced we were delivered the wrong pizza but it was probably the tastiest one of the night. Then the works. Least fave was meat lovers.
