Clean premises. Ordered standard fish and chips. The Hake was nice, fresh and flaky. Chips were ok, but nothing special. Prices are pretty high, but that would be down to the rent in this location. Overall it is def worth checking out!
Had the banded snapper grilled to be gluten free and it was outstanding, best fish we have eaten in a while. Chips and salad were also very good and the whole shop is clean and bright. We have become instant regulars!
Very impressed with the quality here. Battered fish was crunchy and didn’t leave me feeling greasy. Chips had great texture but could have done with more salt.
Went down to Nedlands to try fish and chips in that area.Fisch on Brodway serves fresh fish and the taste is very good and crisp.The owner is very polite and friendly with the customer.Very clean shop and kitchen fro m what I saw.Definitely the place to go for someone looking for fish and chips in Nedlands.
TL;DR – amateur service, average food. Better fish n chip joint 100m down the road. The ordering experience almost reminds me of the ‘before’ scenes in Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares. Blaming customers for orders that didn’t go through, getting confused by the orders, putting wrong fish into wrong order. You know how it goes.A friend of mine wanted to know ‘what’s the best fish and chip joint in Nedlands?’ So we decided to order same thing (standard fish n chips) from both restaurants (Fisch, and the one next to Dominoes) and compare the pair.The one next to dominoes won in all categories, except shop interior design.
Only 5 reviews? Crazy! This is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Nedlands beautiful fresh fish & chips cooked to perfection, the fish was lightly battered & very crispy don’t expect to find oily or soggy chips here. The place is very clean & offers an excellent value for money. Had a chat with the owner & was surprised that they freshly caught the fish themselves. Wow! Definitely be back
