I’ve been coming here for years and the food is just. So. Good. And so consistent. I’ve tried a range of dishes and I don’t think there’s any I haven’t liked. Gary (the owner) is a god!
You have to try this food at Malaysia Gourmet, their food is the best in Perth. This shop is my all time favourite They always use fresh vegetable and meat. Excellent place!
Tried pad thai and have tried mee goreng and some other dishes. I quite like the pad thai, well balanced flavours and quick service. One of the better pad thais out of around 20 that I’ve tried.
Have been going here for many years. Usually I get takeaway.Family is Singaporean and we think it’s quite close (but more expensive) to what you can find over there. Dishes we like: HOKKIEN MEE, HOR FUN, TRI-BALL SOUP, BLACK-BEAN BEEF KWAY TEOW, PRAWN MEE, FRIED MEE HOON.Never had a bad experience here (that I can remember). Fast, simple, tasty.
Awful food.Maybe I was unlucky coming to this stall 3 times during the busy time. The queue was pretty long and the food was really bland. seems like they just cook it casually. The fried kwey tiau was tasteless, the noodle is too sweet, the vermicelli was just salty
This is a gem in Nedlands area and for a good reason. If you are hungry and need a quick fill, this is the place. The food is not spectacular nor fancy but tasty nonetheless. All dishes taste okay except Mie Rebus which I found quite bland. Please try the fried rice and Lamb briyani and you won’t be disappointed. Located in Broadway Fair, the best thing about this place is the vibes. There are always a lot of students and you can actually watch sports for free from the TV in the pub across the restaurant.
I’ve always had friendly service here. The food is really flavorful and reasonably priced. There’s a good variety of meals to choose from. The Nasi Lemak could be improved, maybe be a little more generous with the serving of sambal, and with the chicken curry, it would be nice to see it bulked up with some potatoes and veggies.
