Consistent, reliable and tasty food. I go here once every few months for either lunch or an early dinner. The bento boxes are good value and the endless cups of tea are a lovely bonus. The staff are always friendly and I love the fact that when you’re in a group the food actually comes out together (well within a few minutes of each other).

Usually okay food, always tastes the same. However, my partner and I both got food poisoning from it the other day. It was definately this food as we had not eaten all day. We ordered different meals but both had sashimi so not sure if it was the chicken or raw fish that was off. Definately wont be risking it again. It is the second time I have had off food from there. Will not be going there again, please keep your meat and fish fresh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walked ohnamiya many times but since they only do lunch it is only now that I’ve got to do lunch here. The free Japanese tea is a bonus :)I had a sushi box with teriyaki chicken and it was well presented and the TC hot. My miso soup was perfect! blogsbygabrielle.blogspot.com

Isn’t anywhere as good as Ohnamiya Applecross restaurant. Salmon don was very average, Sushi rolls fresh enough, but rice pasty & very bland. Have been going to the Applecross restaurant for years & love it, they really need to lift the standard in Nedlands to match. Restaurant in dire need of a good clean & revamp.

Not to bad for the price but not amazing either if you are looking for something reasonable in price , quick and tasty give it a good if you are looking for fancy Japanese in this fashionable suburb this isn’t it , family friendly or budget friendly yes !!

Affordable and simple. Had dinner here on a Tuesday night and it was very quiet. There are so many bento box combinations that it took awhile for me to decide on what to order! I ordered a karaage rice box which had a generous serving for the price. The karaage pieces were small but extremely tender, it was a bit strange that it didn’t come with any sauce or mayo though. I’m not sure if they forgot, but I didn’t ask as it was extremely tasty without the condiments anyway.A nice small place that is perfect for casual dining and a pleasant affordable dine out.

Better options nearby. Unable to take an order over the phone. Now suddenly charge for wasabi despite it being free for diners (and no discount for takeaway).
