I’m a total foodie and always in search of good Italian food. I heard about Tommy Sugo from my friend. One of the tastiest, well priced pastas Ive had.
I recently visited Tommy Sugo restaurant for the first time. I had heard a lot about the place, and was very impressed. Great pasta simple, fast, tasty!
Really tasty pasta. Ordered the Lamb spelt Ravioli with pesto. Possibly one of the tastiest pastas I’ve ever had. Less than $20 for a meal and drink. Impressed!
I feel harsh for giving Tommy Sugo such a low score. I have enjoyed them over the years. I like the fact you can pick and choose your pasta and sauce. Unfortunately, I ordered delivery from them a few days ago. The food was half an hour late because they had a power outage (This wasn’t their fault). I ate it, and proceeded to get quite bad food poisoning (That was their fault). Moral of the story, don’t order anything from them with egg in it on a hot day.
Yummy! Lovely friendly staff, polite and meal came quick! Excellent for a quick lunch time pick up! Ordered the cheese arinchini and chicken tortilini with carbonara, totally scrumptious, struggled to finish it all as the regular was bigger than I expected, good portion sizes, will definitely be back.
Oh, it was OK. Fast and friendly but the food itself was underwhelming. Spaghetti tasted no different to good packet pasta and I can make similar sauce with a bottle mix. More of a quick lunch than somewhere to seek out.
Flat white was good. Gnocchi with Tommy’s sauce was very tasty but gnocchi extraordinary, a bit disappointed with the gnocchi. Toastie was so so. Only thing is the price Is reasonable.
