The English guy working (looks like Franc Ribery) has a terrible haircut and I think he broke the dishwasher. He also put some terrible music on.
Stock standard uni student grub. The coffee is ok for the price but the food is average at best, even for the price. Beware the beef lasagne tastes like a slop of fatty beef and a tin of tomatoes sandwiched between some half cooked pasta and the wedges are unevenly cooked. I’ve had the vegetarian lasagne in the past which was a slight notch up. The sushi, rolls and wraps are ordered in, not made in house, are also best described as average. Nonetheless it meets the student need….Fast, cheap and fills the gap for a short while. Plus there are a few more options available/more changeable menu than previous years have seen.

Deliciously relative. Delicious. Delicious if the St. Catherine’s dinning hall is your regular. Otherwise terrible. Avoid.
Get a toastie or day die
Dont Go. Don’t ask me why I went here, but when I did I immediately regretted it.The hall itself is wonderful with comfortable seating and cool music, however the food itself left a lot to be desired. I lined up politely with my plate, but looked on in horror as swarms of international students pushed past me, jumped queues and elbowed each other out of the way to get to the main dishes. When I finally found an opening, I served up some chicken, potato gratin and vegetables and headed for my table. It looked ok, but in all honesty my dinner was bland and tasteless. To cap it off, I watched as cool kids wasted plates and plates of food by grabbing massive serves, before picking at while yapping with mouthfuls of food it then dumping it all in the trash. Ive never seen so much food go to waste (or such badly behaved kids.)For $12 I wasn’t expecting much and went along more out of curiosity than anything, but the food was yuk and the students behaved like pigs. Its a real shame because its a wonderful building but i felt as if a part of soul died that day.
