What more can I say other than if its a damn tasty burger your after then give varsity a go. I had the double cheese burger and it was delicious. The patty was super juicy and tender and the burger as a whole was delicious. Definitely not one to miss. 2 thumbs up
Weve been here more than a few times given the proximity to uni. Came here on a Sunday night with the guys, loud rugby playing in the background but it is a sports bar. Got a chilli dog, double cheeseburger and philly cheese. Chilli dog had a 30 cm Vienna frank with lovely snap to it but was boiled, it wouldve been nice to have been grilled/put on a hot plate to give it some char as well. Chilli and cheese sauce was pleasant and fries that came with them were crispy, hot and lovely as always. Double cheeseburger had juicy patties and fresh crunchy veg. Philly cheese had a meh review but thats alright. Food is unapologetic American dude food done well, I do like it here. Im also very glad theyve renovated the guys toilets but I would like to see the place a bit cleaner – the bucket on the table with the menu condiments and utensils had wet sticky sauce on the menu and a wet used serviette inside, and we had to go hunting in a few buckets as there were no forks in there, perhaps something to work on. The Northbridge and Joondalup locations dont have these issues and the food is great there too.
