Fantastic, inexpensive Vietnamese food. The pho here is the best I’ve had in Perth and the lemon butter beer is to die for. Basically the only place in nedlands that isn’t drastically over-priced and over-rated.
I used to rate this at about 4 but something has changed. It was always packed, now just has a steady few tables of customers. The takeaways are okay. Tables are soulless and lined up cheek by jowl. The service is reminiscent of a hawkers hut.
Considering this is the only Vietnamese eatery in the area, I’d recommend it for anyone seeking fresh and authentic Vietnamese food, reasonably priced (for the area!), and don’t mind the casual Chinese town outlet atmosphere. My favourite dish is the Bun Ga Xao, which is really fried noodle and chicken. Have tried this dish in other Vietnamese restaurant, and I must say, my palate loves Viet Nosh’s creation the best. Not too oily, perfectly spiced, and just plain delicious. If you do dine in, bear in mind, it’s got a small dining area. Nothing fancy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and you do get their service with a smile; you almost feel like you’re in an Asian country, really. Last I checked in, the only inconvenience is that it only accepts cash – but hey, there’s a nearby ATM!Great work team!
Delicious and fresh as always. Yum! Decor and ambience aren’t anything to write home about but if you’re after a quick casual meal that’s bursting with flavour, then this place hits the spot.
No frills, simple dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Not exactly a formal restaurant, but the food more than makes up for what this place lacks in decor. I had lemongrass chicken with rice, which was tasty but nothing too exciting – the pho is this place’s signature dish and you can see why!
When you’re craving South East Asian food this place hits the spot. Very tasty. Quick service. The soaring eagles on the walls are really cool.
Well this is all about horses for courses. This is an eatery not an evening out. It’s a cheap place with good good. Sometimes great food. I’ve been here many times with varying results so hard to tell. You must take it the way it comes. Don’t expect much and you will be okay most visits and delighted on the other.
