First time at this restaurant. The interior is very nice and the staff efficient. The food was just a little too average to want to revisit. Falafel was very dry, fried haloumi ok, small sausages so spicy half the group couldn’t eat them. A couple of us tried lamb tagine with couscous. Very dry and not much more than couscous with cubes of meat on top. Would not go back sorry .
Most disappointed with our visit tonight. We walked in and were presented with menus with greasy marks all over them and did not receive a drinks menu. We asked prior to arriving if the venue was BYO and they said no when in fact we found out from the staff that is was when we arrived. When trying to order off the drinks menu they told us they have no spirits despite them being on there. Ordered 2 sav Blancs and 1 was brought out and then we were told that they didn’t have enough for 2. We ended out walking out imagining how awful the rest of the experience would be if we stayed. We won’t be returning.
Vegetarian and vegan options are plentiful, although they have stopped providing pickles with the breads which is a shame. Hummus and baba ghanoush are great dip options, and vegan soups also appear on the menu. Hot tapas include a vegan moussaka and shakshouka, although we found the okra a little disappointing.
