What a DELIGHTFUL FIND. Excellent PUB meals with generous portions. Two nights stay for one. $95 for TWO nights! ! Compact, comfortable and attractive room. Sherry and Daniel were very friendly and helpful. Love the old charm and historic pictures on walls as well as MEMORIALS to old regulars. I am globally traveled and honestly can’t fault the place. Will be back for sure! Thank you to all for making my stay so enjoyable. x
Well I must say this was a fantastic surprise. We expected very ordinary food. What we got was very well cooked with local ingredients. Great pub grub! I cannot recommend this any higher. Grab the locally caught, beer battered red spot emperor, with chips and salad. Without blowing our own horns, we own a seafood restaurant in perth and think the Shark Bay Hotel is awesome.
We dined here twice during our stay, it’s a ‘pub grub’ menu in a nice atmosphere, particularly outdoors. The first time I ordered the chicken parmi and the second time I went for the beef vindaloo (both on the specials board). My dining partners ordered the rump with peppercorn sauce, vege pasta, seafood basket and the surf’n’reef (again, specials board). We also ordered garlic bread. We enjoyed our meals, the chips are something special! The main downside was the garlic bread which was awful! The service was really good and prices are reasonable.
