We popped in for a drink as we were staying next door. They had craft beers on tap and it was a good country pub atmosphere. We Didn’t eat there but it had a standard pub menu and the meals coming out looked really good – generous.
Staff were rude and unhelpful, attempted to ask a question about my meal and was walk away from, ordered the pasta dish and it was cold as well as the garlic bread, which was also cold and soggy. Fish and chips were soaking in oil. Wouldn’t recommend for price and service.
Came here for a decent pub meal, and was surprised by the food and service.Food was superb, and huge portions. Service was quick, very good, and accommodating, especially with a child. Most definitely a recommended place to visit, for a great meal, when in town.
20 min wait for drinks then a 2hr wait for food. I know it is New Years Day but the place is only 2/3 full, would hate to be here on a busy day.
Average at best. Do all pubs/taverns use the same cookbook? Nothing original on the menu but they do get credit for great service and cleanliness. Definitely need to jazz up their menu, there are so many visitors coming through the town a great product would do wonders for business.
