I like to come here whenever I’m in Broome. It’s a friendly place with a laid-back attitude, and there’s always a great table out front in the sun, overlooking the hustle and bustle of the street. I had my usual holiday breakfast – fruit toast with a side of bacon (yum!), a great coffee and (of course) a mango smoothie – a must-do when you’re in Broome.
Awesome friendly service, and consistently good quality breakfast food and coffee. I’ve been in Broome for work for 8 days, and never has the quality varied from excellent, no matter what I chose. This is a great change from the generally overpriced and variable quality ‘fine dining’ restaurants I’ve tried. Well done guys – keep it up.
We were only in town for two mornings this stay and walked through the doors at about 9am to this busy but bubbly cafe. Packed with locals we got a table without too much fuss and found a well set out menu with plenty of options for all those individual tastes and drinks to match. The young barista is a weapon, she was slinging our drinks out within five or so minutes, we had an iced latte and mango smoothie. The iced latte was nice and strong and coffee quality smooth as silk. The mango smoothie, just order it you’ll know what I mean. Brekky followed about 15 later, we had the mushrooms (titled: a bit posh) and the corn fritters. Both were banging, the mushrooms, seasoned perfectly w/ a mild spiced dukkah, nicely poached eggs and greens on sourdough. The corn fritters were everything they should be and more. A nice crispy exterior incased beautiful flavours, jalapeños on the plate added that little kick up the bum as your mouthful grabbed the avocado, poached eggs and dressing. You wont be disappointed here so walk through the doors, get out of the heat, get a damn mango smoothie and enjoy.
