At Lekker! Yummy! we bake authentic Dutch Poffertjes, pronounce pof-fur-chuss, a traditional baked treat covered with butter and icing sugar to serve. Most easiest compared with little very flavoursome and fluffy pancakes. And quite photogenic. For the more adventurous we serve a variety of toppings that may vary per season. Munchies and all-out-treat portion sizes available. Just find the orange gazebo at the markets to get your fill. During events and some odd days we may sell other typical Dutch treats such as stroopwafels, pepernoten, speculaas and in time 'brood met beleg'; bread with a variety of sprinkles and toppings commonly eaten as breakfast in The Netherlands. Once she set her mind on selling poffertjes in Broome there was no stopping her. Joy is always happy to chat with you in Dutch or talk about The Netherlands.
