The worst tourist place I have ever been. I waited 20 minutes before anyone even knew we were there, even after ringing the bell. Don’t waste your time.

It’s OK. I was eager to try the Mango wine and spirits. They were OK. The pizza we had was decent enough. It’s a decent sort of place to kick back and enjoy the bush with a drink. Signposting from the main road could be a lot better.

Average Thai chicken salad. Alas it is not mango season and the mango chunks were still frozen! My husbands pizza while a lot better than others around Broome was at best OK. $9.50 for a mango mojito non alcoholic served in a very small glass was just plain extortion .

We drove out to The Mango Place for a Friday lunchtime visit.  Having read great reviews.Quick summary: rustic and relaxed. The upside: You know the produce has to be fresh when you are surrounded by acres of mangoes.  Set amongst a lush garden, the functional shack serves up some basic tasty treats.  The mango ice-cream was delish.  The downside: It is rustic, don’t expect too much.  The shop is quaint, but there is not much to browse through.  Very limited options for those who choose to be meat-free.Would I come back?  Unlikely, its a long trip for ice-cream.
