I was really looking forward to coming here for Sunday Morning breakfast as I heard there were plenty of Vegan options on the menu.Im giving 5 Stars for the coffee, despite having to wait a while and 3 stars for the food so total of 4 stars. They use Bon Soy Dairy Free milk here which is a plus, thats why they have great coffee and there are a few really good Raw Vegan Treats available from the counter, so I’d say this place would be great for coffee and cake.Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews Mataya MandurahThe service was slow on the coffees but ok service for breakfast. They have a lot of vegetarian options, which is GREAT but I ordered the ”Green Breakfast Bowl” – Vegan Version , which they had the option to order on the menu V+. So the poached egg AND Haloumi was removed and replaced with the most stingiest piece of avocado ive ever seen in my life 1/4 of an avocado. So they remove TWO items from the dish and I STILL have to pay the same price?Heres there menu below. I didn’t want to order the Chia or the Porridge as I can stay at home and make This myself.Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews MenuEveryone else dishes looked good but mine 3rd most expensive on the menu and the smallest too!! The salad dressing was almost bigger than the breakfast. I didn’t use the dressing as it was a bit too overpowering for that time of morning.Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews Herbivore Chef, Vegan friendly restaurants in Perth, Western Australia, Perth Food blog, Perth food guide, Eating out in Perth, Restaurant reviews Perth, Restaurant reviews HangryThis place is great for coffee and has a nice vibrant atmosphere but id like to see them make a few changes to their vegan options. would love to try this place again soon. herbivorechef.com
We picked this quirky local cafe to dine at for lunch after reading about it on the net. They have small breakfast and lunch menu. I went for the Brooklyn Boy which is a pastrami bagel – tastes pretty good, though would have preferred if they had used real pastrami instead of a cured meat ?coppa. Very good coffee.
