Quite disappointed unfortunately. Porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce – steak was cooked to med-rare which was good, but the sauce was like some weird packet casserole mix with a few bits of mushroom, NOT mushroom sauce. It covered half the plate and ruined the steak.Wagyu beef burger – the patty was flavourless, large and difficult to eat.Kids Fish and Chips – for $15 what a joke. 1 tiny bit of over-cooked fish and a giant bucket of chips. No healthy options on the kids menu either, not even a tiny bit of chopped tomato and cucumber. What’s with kids menu’s being so bland and boring! We feel cheated out of $63.

7 for lunch on the 27/12/16 every meal was fabulous. We ranged from kids meals to medium cooked steaks and parmigiana. We couldn’t fault the food at all! We will return!

I ordered the Steak Burger. Absolutely the best steak burger I’ve ever eaten. My five companions ordered Chicken Snitzel, Thai Beef Salad and Chicken Breast and they too were absolutely amazing. Majorly generous serving sizes accompanied by well cooked steak chips and salad. The Pizza one companion ordered was burnt and terrible. This can be forgiven considering two car clubs and a motorcycle club of people all turned up at the same time totally over whelming the kitchen. Yet they still got the food out pretty quick. Amazing ambiance and atmosphere sitting in the dining room surrounded by history, crackling wood fires, polished wood tables. Will definitely go back again given the brilliant value for money as most dishes were only around $20- each. Do your self a favour and go for a revitalising drive through the tall timber forest to this gem of a place.
