Nice little brunch I had at the coffee club, the venue is nothing special in my opinion, but the food was what I expected and I quite enjoyed it. Ice coffee was good and served to us right away. The waitress was very friendly and chatted with us for awhile which was nice. Not an outstanding place but I wasn’t disappointed at all, casual and relaxing. Hey isn’t that what sit down coffee is all about anyways!
Breakfast. Went for breakfast on a Friday morning. No gluten free toast, would have expected them to have gf toast. Pretty standard now. Ordered eggs benedict with no bun, when it arrived looked pretty average and tasted the same. Had asked for semi-soft eggs, they were runny. It is McDonalds for adults. Won’t be going back.
Nice Sunday Lunch. The coffee club has been opened for couple months but just tried it recently. We passed by many times in the weekday and it’s alway packed with people. Surprisingly the last Sunday was a quiet time. The cafe was very pleasant to have a relax lunch, enjoying the coffee together with the newspaper ! The calamari and the chips are just nice, crispy outside and soft inside (for both!) The omelette was cooked to perfection ! The coffee from Coffee Club, also not disappointed.
The manager was horrible. If you value your business, remove her immediately. Coffee: good. Food: average. 20-something year old girl on a power trip: bad, very very bad.
