I was bought this beautiful chocolate mud cake for my birthday from Picobello patisserie. We found it amazing.. it was fresh, chocolatey , not too rich and just beautiful, moist and not too sickly as some mud cakes are. Highly recommend this place and will return for more in the future .
My favourite almond croissant in Perth! It has been a near run thing with the rise in competition lately, but this unobtrusive little shop in Bicton stands alone at the top of the tree!I like that it is not too sweet, good consistency and so soft and fluffy. And not too big, an apparent issue at some places! My kids are also avid fans of their kids cupcake selection (with appropriate lolly adornments) and gingerbread men. Coffee is not the best going around – but I choose to overlook that and go elsewhere for my caffeine. But when it is croissant time – there with bells on.
Three separate people have raved about the almond croissants here! So I finally came along to see for myself. At $4.50 they were probably the most reasonably priced in the whole of Perth. The croissant was very good however I prefer mine to be flaky and with a bit of a crisp but the ones here are soft. Flavour wise though they are perfect. Perfect size, perfect amount of filling and not too sweet. Lovely service. Lots of other sweet treats on display including GF.
I don’t consider myself a tart lover but the petite ones I bought were yummy. Love the crust. Great friendly service as well. Will be back for more very soon.
Ooh la la – this was the weekend of sweet treats! A must visit in Bicton for divine sweets made with loved. Popped in after reading a few reviews and I’m so glad I visited! Tried a Strawberry & Custard tart and it was a beautiful treat! It looked so petite and pretty – too nice to eat really! The custard was thick and creamy, while the strawberries added a fruity zing. The pastry was crumply and rich – you could taste the butter! Yum.
Yummy cakes, really good croassaint, and coffee good too.The girl at the shop is always smiley and friendly. Such a nice place close to home.
Amazing and devine –> Must visit!!. I love this place!! Met the owners… lovely people … but it didn’t end there …… delicious coffees (Segafredo) and selection of cakes …… I can’t believe we didn’t come here earlier ….. would definitely return …. thumbs up!!!No fear no favour … the Greedy chupster (has spoken) signing out!
