I got a takeaway laksa here and when I got home, realised the ingredients were unbelievably scarce. One stale shrunken prawn and a small piece of fish. Plus noodles. That’s it. No sprouts, nothing. Photos attached. The soup base was overly sweet for a laksa, not what I was expecting. Perhaps other items are okay on the menu but the laksa I had was PURE DISAPPOINTMENT.
Sohe was a great experience. The dishes are creative and absolutely delicious. Service was very good with attentive and personable staff. Vibe is quite relaxed and casual but the decor is smart so you still get a classy experience. Will definitely go back.
Visited Sohe tonight. The place is smart causal with a Simple ambience. Food that i had was the Crab curry caviar with turkish bread (recommended by the staff) – it was quite a watery for a dip, i liked the taste still wished there was more crab meat. Sohe special curry – very creamy, tasted more like a peanut curry dish. Banana leaf chicken – spiced enough though a little on the sweet sideTom kha – tasty, more towards a creamy tom yam soup instead Overall my experience at Sohe was above my expectation. Enjoyed myself, would visit this place again for sure. The food was good and service was lovely. A place to visit if u rnt looking for fine dining but a night out with friends.
