Made a booking for a large group for dinner on the a sunday night. We had the goat halloumi trash fennel jam, lime, agave, pistachio; scorched broccoli, wild lemon sorrel, chilli, buttermilk, hazelnuts and pecorino; triple cooked potatoes with red curry mayonnaise; Rottnest scallops, peach bbq, pickled ginger and smoked bacon; and the pork hock with honey roasted apple, pine nut, sultana, puffed skin; wood and roasted piggy with trimmings. For dessert we had the compressed honey cake with white chocolate, pear and honeycomb; reverse maltesers, chocolate meringue, malt cream; and the bravo apple dumpling, ginger ice cream with walnut praline. Could not fault a single dish. Definitley coming back!

Family & dog friendly cafe with a great breakfast menu. We had the crab cake benedict & YG sausage with poached eggs + green juice. Really good quality produce. I enjoyed the YG sausage dish more than the crab cake. The service would have been better if they had one more staff on floor but the team was really friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back again!

Went for breakfast this morning with friends (group of 6). Waitress was pretty unfriendly, no warm greeting or smile. Then she dropped boiling hot tea on my arm and leg. Didn’t say sorry. Blamed it on the girl who filled the tea pot. Offered me a cold towel 5 minutes after the event. Bit late. Food was good but leaving with a burn mark on my leg and no apology. Pretty bad service. Don’t think we will be going back.

Visited this morning for brunch and got there around 11ish… Was told they were out of a lot of dishes on the menu after a busy morning. Bit of a shame as both of the dishes we wanted to try were all out. Went with the Crispy Tortillas ($17.50). They were topped with Fried Egg, Avo, Salsa and Jalapeos plus a Chipotle sauce. The dish was nice, but the eggs were a little undercooked and the slimy film on top wasn’t too appetising. After picking it off it was a nice, light dish with fresh flavours. Not a very substantial meal though so don’t order it if you’re hungry. L had the Poached Eggs on Toast ($12.50) with bacon, mushrooms and avo on the side (extra $). Eggs were cooked well but bacon was overcooked and burnt. A little too crispy. Coffee was smooth and easy to drink and staff were friendly. Liked the interiors too. Not sure if I’ll return though – so many other cool cafes on the strip to try.

An absolute must for a late night delight, what a find!! The food is nothing short of outstanding. Try the nachos not your average nachos. The white chocolate cheesecake is a surprise best dessert is amazing.

First time dining at young George and what a little hid gem it turned out to be. Amazing food and wonderful service. Great place to come in a group as you can share or a couple. Keep it up guys.

We went to Young George last night for my birthday dinner. Had never been there and found it by googling and using this app. It was a great find! The vibe was relaxed and friendly. Busy but not hectic. I had two totally delicious cocktails and husband easily found a beer he liked. We were advised how to order by the friendly waiter and took his advice, ordering lamb ribs from the small plates section, the heirloom tomato salad from the vegetables bit and the woodfired duck. It was all totally delicious. The ribs were standout. Generous serve, an even number so it was easy to share them and with devine sauce and flavours. Heirloom tomatoes were yummy too, with quinoa and fresh flavours. The duck was interesting, served on a waffle and with strawberries. I loved the sweet/savoury combo but my husband wasn’t quite as keen. We were comfortably full and impressed overall. If we lived closer I think we’d be back again soon.
