I came here on a date with this guy. The restaurant is very small and cozy. However they just rush you in and out and because of this the quality of the food is just not at its best!!! The high light of the night was Arancini balls. They were crunchy on the out side soft in the middle with chunks of Potato and cheese and soft rice through them :-)The tortellini was nice however the pasta was under cooked and quiet doughy! And cold in the middle If it was cooked to Al dente it would of been a 5/5 :-(The margarita pizza was nice. Thin base with generous amounts of toppings!The panna cotta was nice it almost tasted like the middle of Creme brle. It was topped with hot strawberries (very amazing)!I think its a little over priced for the pasta when its not up to good standers… they also need to slow down the service and not try and rush you in and out with in 15 minuets its just not right. I even had to ask for the desert menu because they where hoping we would leave after our mains…. a little disappointing. I wont go back there, as there is a lot more Italian restaurants in the area I want to try!!!

They didn’t have half the desserts on the menu- the apple pie was poor in presentation, crust soggy and stale, like it had come right from the microwave; and the sponge of the tiramisu soggy, and lacking coffee flavour.I am surprised to see Caffe italia with such ratings and positive reviews; they are undeserving of it. The only redeeming quality is the nice decor but it was rather quiet for a Friday night.
