Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff. The desserts were the standouts… the canollo and stuffed donut thingys with ice cream were INCREDIBLE. I would return just for those!!! The pizza was okay…excellent dough but the toppings a little bland overall (artichoke, olive, ham and mozzarella). The aranchini with garlic sauce was super delicious and full of flavour; the grilled mushroom was quite nice; the croquettes however were very bland.I would return to try their goat and polenta and other main which sound great…
Has been awhile since Ive eaten here, but not a lot has changed. Came for dinner with a few people and there were only a couple of other tables dining. We shared a couple of entrees including the panzerotti (quite nice) and the arancini (these were very tasteless and dry). The pizza was generally good but just too inconsistent – one base was borderline burnt but the topping was great, the four cheeses pizza was tasty but a bit undercooked and the parmigiana pizza was extremely bland (the eggplant literally had no taste). The pasta we ordered was unfortunately very ordinary. Staff although nice, were not on the ball and we had to keep asking for plates, extra napkins and for things to be cleared away. Food took a long time to come out which was strange given it was not a busy night (perhaps they were understaffed). With so many other great casual Italian restaurants to choose from in Perth right now, I feel like they really need to step up their game.
