A very belated review for this restaurant. Came here for their sparkling high tea on multiple occasions. Food was always delicious. With the sparkling high tea, we get free flow sparkling wine the whole time which was lovely. Good selection choice for tea. Definitely one of my favourite place for high tea over the years.
High Tea at the Origins Restaurant was absolutely amazing. We felt like royalty, which is exactly what you need for that special occasion! Staff were constantly filling up our champaz and at your service within just a glance. Their smiling faces and professional mannerism definitely did it for me. I’m not usually one for flavoured tea, but they were all beautiful and surprising perfect to swig inbetween champagne! The food was also something to brag about, a bit of everything and each piece was bursting with flavour. I must also mention the crockery and cutlery – stunning! Will definitely be booking again soon – just need to find a good excuse! ;P
Love The Pan Pacific Hotel, a place we always stay when visiting Perth due to beautiful staff, wonderful suites & great breakfasts. Very positive experience here for afternoon tea with lots of beautiful sweet treats & deserts. Not to mention the free flowing sparkling. Coffee was a tad bitter which is my only complaint, very well presented however
The teas that were served were really lovely and the tea cups were so right. The service was impeccable. The menu sounded delightful and there was plenty of it. More than enough to satisfy. The problem for me was that the food did not live up to the promises. Everything tasted like it had been preprepared. It was almost stale. It had certainly been refrigerated . It was sad. High tea should be a delight in every mouthful. Not a trudge through. Opportunity for improvement.
Lovely high tea experience! Very attentive and friendly staff, special dietary requirements were no problem at all, sparkling wine was continually topped up. Beautiful crockery and delicious food although we all felt something fresh at the end would have been nice after all the decadent sweets.
Had high tea here on the weekend and it was terrific. Free flowing sparkling wine, tea and coffee was just great. The food was quite good too, a good balance of savoury and sweet food items. Service was prompt, however the waiter may need a little more practice in describing each food item on the platter when it was placed on the table as he fumbled through it all. Was last here about 6yrs ago and can see the high tea has definitely improved since then.One negative point with dining here would be that the restrooms in the establishment could do with better cleaning from their cleaners as it was a turn off that it was smelly and dirty after having such a nice meal.
High Tea service was perfect, good selection of food and lovely atmosphere. Thanks go to the very attentive staff. Nice poolside view, too.
