Lovely service. Toilets as gross as a train station. If you’re gonna call yourselves a wine bar maybe learn to spell the names of the (extremely common) wineries on your list. Maybe even tell us the region. $14 for a glass of (way too warm )Yalumba shiraz that costs $18 a bottle at Dan Murphys is absolutley taking the piss. Even for Perrh.
We were staying at Novotel Perth Langley for a long weekend and had breakfast included in the price. It has the usual fare of bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, juices and a live cooking station for eggs. There is also salmon, fresh caper berries and a small international section of Chinese steamed buns, noodles, etc.In addition to the three coffee machines, you can also have unlimited barista made coffees. Have a coffee with the banana cake, it is the best I have tried. All of the staff members were friendly, happy and went our of their way to help with special requests.Overall, we were very happy with our breakfast.
I split the difference had breakfast here food was ok service was none .. Total Chaos with seating and trying to get food would not recommend if wanting a family venue to eat
Brought the groupon to try out the breakfast here. Not as many star rated as the hotel’s brand name which is a disappointment. Choices are limited, 99% are western food such as the usual eggs, bacon, hash brown, mushrooms etc. They had the Chinese steamed pork buns which was so so as they are not hot enough and pretty hard exterior. Good variety of drinks such as juices and coffees and teas.Fruits are not replenished during the course of my meal. And presentation looks messy with the bits and pieces of fruits left soaked in the fruit juices.Overall messy. Crumbs and food pieces around bench tops. Maybe the staff should make a conscious effort to keep the food display areas to be clean and tidy fit for a 5 star hotel. They had barista coffees made as well. So that was not too bad.I am guilty of comparing against atrium’s selection of breakky and sen5es sort of fades out so much from atrium. I guess every penny’s worth. Groupon was $19 for 2 pax and I think this one off experience is good enough for me.Maybe they should be more creative and provide more choices of food. A multicultural selection will add some excitement to the selection.
Absolutely the worse dining experience I have hadin the past 5 yrs.I travel a lot and have an AccorAdvantage Plus loyalty card which I use frequently when travelling interstate and overseas. Generally I have been very happy with Accor hotels and their restaurants.Decided to go for lunch at the Perth Langley Novotel. Summary of my experience:1. Arrived at 11.45 but no staff or diners in sight. Had to go to hotel reception so that they could ring for someone to seat us.2. Given wrong info about the loyalty card discount. Told it was 50% off food and drinks but I knew it was only off the food.3. Ordered a Pina Colada but it was strangely devoid of any pineapple flavor.4. Never offered any water.5. Food took a very long time considering we were the first diners to order. Waited over 1 hr for my burger, which was mediocre at best.6. The bread and butter dessert is strange and borders on being inedible.7. The final insult was that we were rung up as we were driving home to inform us that the restaurant had given us back the wrong loyalty card and that we would need to go through the hassle of switching back the cards. You couldn’t engineer a more unpleasant dining experience than this if you tried. I will never ever step inside this restaurant again.Other intending diners: BEWARE!!
Good experience, good value. Had a wonderful dinner at Sen5es restaurant last night and can only recommend it. Fresh oysters, delicious main and sensational dessert. It’s also a very enjoyable atmosphere, and perfect for a friends or business dinner.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. We were very impressed with the look and atmosphere of Sen5es when we first saw it. Casual but intimate and the menu was impressive. Service from all the staff was impeccable. Friendly and accommodating (even with our two kids) and service was mostly quite prompt.I ordered the laksa. The flavour was lovely but that’s where the pros of the dish ended. The dish was so salty it was almost inedible. I tried to avoid the soup and find the noodles to balance the saltiness and found two small mouthfuls of noodles in the whole bowl. And the laksa was very overpriced at $28.My partner ordered a scotch fillet which was cooked well and was tasty (but its hard to stuff up a MSA graded scotch fillet) but it was a thin cut and not worth the $48 price tag.The kids were the only ones happy and they had a ham and cheese sandwich. The staff were really great though and gave our feedback to the chef and gave us some complimentary drinks.
