We had Sunday breakfast here based on a previously good experience, however this time it was uniformly bad in every respect. I am not usually one to complain but there were real problems that future patrons need to be aware of:1. The food took 45minutes to arrive and that only after asking twice about our meals after 30mins of waiting;2. No explanation was given why our food arrived atter other patrons despite having ordered earlier. Our thought was that our order had been mishandled in the kitchen somehow;3. This happened despite there being very few patrons. However, we noted that Uber Eats were going out the door at a great rate, our thoughts were that Uber orders were being given higher priority than actual customers in the Cafe???4. The food was overcooked when it finaly arrived as well as cold. The wait staff, infact, had brought the meal out as though it had been sitting in the kitchen waiting for awhile as it looked old and certainly not freshly prepared;5. Our belief is that the cook/s had hastily cobbled together some food that had been on the hotplate for awhile for their Uber orders and served it up post haste in an effort to cover their mistake!! It was NOT fresh and was greasy in consistency. Conversely, the so-called toast was barely cooked at all; just warmed bread. it left us with a nasty aftertaste in our mouths both physically and figuratively. IT WAS JUST AWEFUL!!!!6. As we had limited time and had invited a relative of mine for a nice breakfast we felt our meeting had been ruined!! His meal arrived a long time after ours and only after we had complained for the 3rd time, he wasn’t happy to say the least so our previously convivial meeting was ruined by this totally unsatisfactory experience. In fact, so upset was he that, although he NEVER is one to complain about anything, he stated to the waitress that he would never return to their establishment, how sad to have this result at all levels!Of course, We won’t return for a second helping of tea and disapointment and we recommend you also avoid the cafe like the proverbial plague.

Had a good brunch session and although their menu is not extensive but it is quite a nice cafe and the food is pretty decent. We had coffees and for food we have ordered the sausage burger, mushroom delight and pulled beef with flat bread. All are quite nice and freshly done. I’ve got nothing to fault especially when the service was really good and the cafe is quiet and spacious so it’ll be very ideal for mothers with prams to catch up.
